Library Technology & Facilities: Customize Your Library Experience

Information about technology and facilities in the libraries.

Apps for Library Users

The following apps will enhance your experience using the library's online resources.

Adobe Digital Editions (ebook reader)

To use Ebsco eBooks on a desktop or laptop computer, you need to have the Adobe Digital Editions app installed.

Ebsco Mobile App (easy access to ebooks and search tools)

Many of the libraries' online resources, including over 200,000 ebooks, come to us through the vendor Ebsco. Add their mobile app to your phone, Ipad, or Android tablet to download ebooks (no need for an Adobe account or Digital Editions), or to search many of Atlantic Cape's databases for articles. Check out the Quick Start Guide for help setting up and using Ebsco Mobile.

The search capabilities of Ebsco Mobile are limited by comparison with the complete search system, but enhancements are in the works, and using ebooks is easy. To limit your search to ebooks, filter by content type.
