Your Library Card

Activating an Atlantic Cape ID Card

  • Bring your college ID to the Circulation Desk at any of the three Atlantic Cape libraries.
    • Rutgers students, bring your RU ID card. You will get a guest card to use for Atlantic Cape resources.

No ID card? Visit Student Services to get your card made up. Don't forget to bring proof of registration (students) or employment (staff), and a valid photo ID.

Evening or weekend student? Part of our Early College program? If you can't get to campus during the hours when the ID card office is staffed, we can still create an account for you.. You will need to log into Self Service to verify that you are a current student, and present a valid photo ID.

Online student? If you take all your classes online, and don't normally come to campus, you can still have a library account. You'll need to come in once to provide ID and then you'll be all set. Remember, without a library account, you can still access online digital materials.

Guest Cards

Residents in Atlantic and Cape May Counties are eligible for guest borrowing privileges. Community borrowers can get a guest card by visiting the Circulation Desk at any of the three Atlantic Cape libraries. Be sure to bring a valid photo ID and proof of residence.

All borrowers must complete a Library User Agreement.
