The libraries at Atlantic Cape Community College are part of the larger department of Academic Support Services, which encompasses library services, tutoring services, computer laboratories, the Nonprofit Resource Center, and the Art Gallery. There are three libraries, one for each campus.
The libraries serve the information needs of the college community by providing access to a rich collection of print and digital resources in multiple formats, providing reference assistance and library instruction to support information literacy, collaborating with faculty and tutors to create more holistic learning experiences, and by providing access to technology necessary for academic activities. The libraries also contribute to the cultural life of the campus through the Art Gallery, topical exhibits, and other events. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable study spaces, and leisure-time activities all contribute to making the libraries a warm and welcoming environment.
The Atlantic Cape Libraries provide access to
The libraries at Atlantic Cape are open to the public. Visitors to the Atlantic City Campus must check in at the Security Desk in the lobby when entering the building. Residents of Atlantic and Cape May counties are eligible for guest borrowing privileges, and members of any Atlantic County Library System library can borrow books through their local ACLS branch. Digital resources are available for use on campus, but off-campus use is restricted to Atlantic Cape students, faculty, and staff.
