Ask a Librarian: Book drops

In Person

• Return your Atlantic Cape library books, or books from any library in the Atlantic County Library System to the Circulation Desk in any of the libraries. You do not need to return your books to the library where you borrowed them. We will see that they get back to their home library.

To a Convenient Library

• Return your Atlantic Cape library items to any library in the Atlantic County Library System, either inside the library or to the book drop.

In the Book Drop

• There are book drops located on all three campuses. Check out the photos below for location information.
• Returning media or other fragile items to an Atlantic Cape book drop? Please place inside a padded envelope or other protective container.
• DO NOT PUT TEXTBOOKS IN THE LIBRARY BOOKDROP!

Locations of Library Book Drops on Atlantic Cape Campuses

	Mays Landing The library book drop is located at the edge of the sidewalk outside D Building, across from Parking Lot #2.
	Cape May The book drop for library books is located to the left of the main doors.
	Atlantic City The book drop for library books is located to the left of the front doors, facing Kentucky Avenue. The drop for the bookstore is right beside it. Don't get them confused. The big one is for library materials.

By Mail

Sign into your bookstore account to print mailing labels.

Be sure to include your name and Atlantic Cape student number inside the cover of each book. If you do not, the bookstore may not be able to credit the return to your account.

In a Book Drop

The book store has placed book drops on each campus for contact-free book returns. USE THESE DROPS FOR TEXTBOOKS.

Be sure to include your name and Atlantic Cape student number inside the cover of each book. If you do not, the bookstore may not be able to credit the return to your account.

Check out the images below for the location of bookstore drops. They look totally different from the library drops. Please do not place library material in the bookstore drops.

Book Drops for Textbook Returns

	Cape May The bookstore drop box is located immediately to the right of the main campus doors.
	Atlantic City The book drop for textbooks is located to the left of the front doors, facing Kentucky Avenue. The drop for the library is right beside it. Don't get them confused. The small red one is for bookstore materials.
