Scholarly books contain in-depth authoritative information with extensive accounts of research, historical data and views by experts on the subject
If you are looking for an in-depth discussion for global events, your best source may be a book, or a chapter from a book. Books can help you to gain a broader perspective on your topic, and place it in an historical and/or social context. The libraries at Atlantic Cape have many books relating to global events. To find books in the print collections of Atlantic Cape and Atlantic County libraries use the Book Catalog. For digital books, search our E-Book Collection. (When off campus use the Off Campus database access login to access the ebook collection. Contact the library for user name and password.)
Did you find an article not available in full text? How about a book not owned by Atlantic Cape or the Atlantic County Library System.
All is not lost. The library may be able to get your article or book from another library. The Interlibrary loan service is free to all current students, faculty and staff of Atlantic Cape.
Please be sure to provide as complete a citation as possible, so the lending library can quickly locate your request.
