Cape May Campus

In July 1995, the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education recommended that Cape May County (the last of the NJ counties to have or be part of a community college) enter into a partnership with a neighboring community college. Prior to that, as early as 1973, Atlantic Cape Community College, known then as, Atlantic Community College had been offering classes in Cape May.

On January 1, 1999 Atlantic Community College officially became a joint college encompassing Atlantic and Cape May counties. The Board of Trustees approved a new name for the joint college: Atlantic Cape Community College (Atlantic Cape) in February 1999.

The Cape May County Campus (CMCC) with two three-story wings joined by a two story open entranceway, adjacent to the Rutgers University Cooperative Extension and across from the Cape May County Zoo at 341 Court House South Dennis Rd. Cape May Court House, opened in August 2005. The campus offers the same curriculum that is available to all Atlantic Cape students.

Support services include counseling, testing, tutoring and financial aid. There is a 100-seat lecture hall, cafeteria, chemistry and biology labs, computer labs, and Information Commons library

In partnership with Marina Energy the installation of 450 kilowatt solar photovoltaic system was completed in October 2013. The system generates up to 10% of the campus's electric power.

The Cape May County Campus offers a unique 13-week semester to help balance student academic goals with the demands of the region’s busy tourism season. From Atlantic Cape Community College Institutional Profile, September 2016

Mullock Family Library

In October 2016 the Cape May Campus library was renamed in honor of Robert Mullock, an Atlantic Cape Foundation honorary board member. College officials acknowledged the Mullock family's long-time contributions to student scholarships with a dedication ceremony for the Mullock Family Library.

The library contains a print book and journal collection, computer workstations with Internet and access to the library's digital collections and databases, study rooms, assistive technology services and free tutoring services.
