Atlantic Cape Rewrites published since 1970

Welcome

Welcome to the Rewrites Archive

Rewrites is the current title of Atlantic Cape's award-winning literary and art magazine. It publishes poetry, drama, fiction, photography and drawings and paintings created by members of the college community. Issues are edited and published by students, with the support of the English department. Under various titles, the literary magazine has existed since the inception of the college; the first yearbook, published in 1968, lists the Laureate club among student activities.

This archive contains digitized copies of the library's holdings of the literary magazine. Each magazine is available in two formats. Below, you will find accessible PDF files for each issue. These files are screen-reader friendly and images include alt-text. On the Scanned Images tab, you will find images of the original pages of each issue of the magazine. This file format maintains the original layout of the printed magazines.

We hope you will enjoy the work of our many talented writers and artists.

Rewrites is currently published annually in the spring, under the direction of Prof. Richard Russell and Prof. Katie Frew. The club meets on Tuesdays from 12:30-1:30 in G111 on the Mays Landing Campus and by Zoom. Contributions for the 2024-2025 issue are welcomed.  For more information about the club, or to submit work for consideration, please email rewrites@atlanticcape.edu.
