Grants and Funding Sources

Atlantic Cape Non-Profit Resource Centers

The library in the Mullock Family Library, at the Cape May County Campus, and the Library/Information Commons at the Atlantic City Campus are home to our Non-Profit Resource Centers.  They are a regional resource for Atlantic and Cape May Counties. Books and other information sources on fundraising are available, as are scheduled appointments for assistance in identifying grant information. The Center is a regional site for the Candid's Foundation Directory Online that provides access to nonprofit resources:

  • The Foundation Directory Online: provides profiles and contact information for 140,000+ grant-makers and funding agencies, information about funding recipients, and many other resources for finding a good match to fund your project, and includes the Grants to Individuals: database which lists sources of grants to individuals, including scholarships,. small business grants, and professional development opportunities.
  • Guidestar: Search for information on more than 2 million nonprofits, including mission, vision, values, programs, leadership, staff and board demographics, and finances

Grant-seekers can take advantage of the quiet space and printing opportunities in the dedicated Nonprofit Resource room, or use any of the public computers in the libraries to search the Candid Databases. This services is available only on the Cape May County Campus, and the Worthingon Atlantic City Campus. There is no off-campus access. Training opportunities are scheduled throughout the year; for information about upcoming training opportunities, contact the library at library@atlantic.edu or view our research guide for Nonprofit Resources for current information and links to New Jersey and Federal grant opportunities
