Help with Any Class!

Help with your course work is available through
Atlantic Cape's tutoring program.

Need help with homework assignments, preparing for a quiz, working on a project, or writing a paper?

Atlantic Cape tutors are available to assist you with almost any coursework, on campus or online.

Tutoring services for fall semester are available through Thursday 19 December.

 The last day to email papers for review is FRIDAY 20 December, 3:00pm.

Online Tutoring

Join a live, drop-in Zoom meeting with an Atlantic Cape tutor

All current students are welcome, no appointment or registration is required. 

A great option for students with busy, full-time lives.  These sessions are held at various times throughout the week, see below for the current offerings.

  • Sign in to your student Blackboard account
  • Select "Tutoring Services" in your "Courses" list.  Make sure you are looking at "Current Courses" 
  • Look under "Live Remote Tutoring" for subjects, meeting times and Zoom links.  You may join at any time during the scheduled hours.

Drop-in Zoom sessions are currently available for

Writing (for any course)

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 6:00-7:30pm  (no sessions after 19 Dec)

Statistics (MATH 220)

Tuesday 7:30-9:30pm; Friday 6:30-8:30pm; Saturday 2:30-4:30pm (no sessions after 19 Dec)

Introductory Algebra (MATH 073 and 074)

Tuesday and Wednesday 7:00-8:30pm

Precalculus and Calculus I (MATH 150, 155)

Thursday 6:30-8:30pm (no session Thu 19 Dec)

 

Go to the Tutoring Services course shell in Blackboard for the specific times + invitation links. 

 

 

Atlantic Cape tutors are available remotely, by request and appointment, for individual consultations.

Please tell us:

  • Your class
  • your instructor's name
  • what kind of help you need, or what is giving you trouble.

We will connect you with one of our tutors by email.  You have the option to continue communicating by email, or meet through Zoom or Blackboard Collaborate

Some courses have a designated tutor available directly in your course in Blackboard.  Ask your instructor if this option is available for your class. 

 

BRAINFUSE is Atlantic Cape's supplemental online homework help and Q&A service.

You access Brainfuse through your Blackboard account.  Sign in to Blackboard and in your "Current Courses" list, go to "Tutoring/tutoring services" and there you will find the link to Brainfuse.

Brainfuse tutors are available to everyone for live 1:1 tutoring on a drop-in, first come, first served basis.  Most subjects have live help available 24/7.  It's best to check your specific topic ahead of time for tutor availability.

There is no charge for Atlantic Cape students to use Brainfuse!
