One of the most well-known and devastating genocides in history is the Holocaust, which occurred during World War II and killed approximately 6 million Jews.

May 6, 2024 is Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom Hashoah). It is the internationally recognized day for remembrance of the victims of the Holocaust. It corresponds to the 27th day of Nisan on the Hebrew calendar. It marks the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
